Renew business licenses and get A-Frame sign permits online.

The City of Toronto has introduced new online services for businesses requiring a licence or a permit.

The two new online services that will help most businesses located in BIAs are: Online A-Frame Applications and Online License Renewal Payment.

As part of 311 service, the new online application for A-Frame signs allows qualifying businesses to apply for a temporary sign permit online. Provided all the necessary information accompanies the online application, the permit can be issued without having the customer come to a city office in person.

The second new online tool assists current licensed businesses in renewing their annual licenses. The online license renewal payment system gives licensed businesses the ability to pay for most license renewals without having to come down to the licensing office. It’s fast, easy and convenient. This renewal is especially useful for taxi drivers, stationary business operators and others whose licence renewal simply involves payment of the renewal fee.
