Be Part of the 1st Crossroads of the Danforth Pumpkin Carving Contest.
Compete with other area businesses and help spookify the neighbourhood.
· Carve or decorate a pumpkin for Halloween.
· Take a photo of it at your business.
· Send your photo to johnb@crossroadsbia.ca by 6pm on Tuesday October 29th.
· Jack o’ Lanterns will be judged by a panel as well as a Fan Favourite chosen on social media.
· Winners will be announced at the Oakridge Park Pumpkin Parade on the evening of Friday, November 1st.
· Winning Pumpkin Owners will receive a free lunch at a Crossroads BIA food establishment of their choice and a free booth space at the 2020 Wheels on the Danforth street festival.
· 1 pumpkin (or 1 group of themed pumpkins) per business.
· If you need a pumpkin, the Crossroads of the Danforth BIA can provide you with one for FREE if you notify us by noon on Monday, October 28th 2019.

Oakridge Park Munchkin March
Join us on Halloween morning for our fourth annual Munchkin March. An opportunity for the little ones who are not yet in school (as well as their caregivers) to do some daytime trick-or-treating at some of the local businesses in the Crossroads of Danforth BIA. Show up in costume at Oakridge Park by 10:15 am for a fun morning. If you are interested in participating, please RSVP with the number of children attending to the Friends of Oakridge Park event on Facebook or email friendsofoakridgepark@gmail.com

Oakridge Park Pumpkin Parade
Join the Friends of Oakridge Park on Friday November 1st for our fifth annual Pumpkin Parade in Oakridge Park. Bring your jack o’ lanterns out for one last appearance as we line the neighbourhood pumpkins up throughout the park. The fun starts at 6pm so show up with the Jack o’ lanterns just before, and be ready to light them up to be part of the parade. Bring your neighbours to walk around the park and view the creative and astounding pumpkin displays. Enjoy music, spooky stories and refreshments while you take in the sights as the local jack o’ lanterns take over Oakridge Park. Lots of fun for the whole family!
